LASER-TEC Student Presented at SPIE Optics and Photonics Conference - August 28, 2016

Aaron Morgan Adams, a student of the CCCC Laser Program, and Gary Beasley, the lead instructor and LASER-TEC Co-PI, presented about LASER-TEC celebrations of the International Year of Light at SPIE Conference in San Diego, CA on August 28, 2016 

With multiple sessions and nearly 50 different presentations, the SPIE the Optics Education and Outreach Conference brought together educators, students, and administrations from around the world to share the best approaches in promoting light-based technologies.  The presenters travelled from the different parts of the United States, Spain, United Kingdom, Germany, China, Japan, France, Italy, Russia, South Africa, Mexico and India to discuss what worked and what didn’t in engaging students and general public in exciting world of photonics.
